Cozy, rustic but modern, detailed, and elegant – are a few words that come to mind when taking in the Belhumeur space. This client wanted to create a “warm” space that reflected their personal tastes, while making their space more functional.

Their home started out with a lot of wood, in the same tones that took over the space and made it look dated. We updated this space by adding more grey-toned hues to neutralize the colour pallate, while still making the home seem bigger, and more inviting.

The fireplace is one of our favourite elements of this transformation, by providing a focal point for the room. It is surrounded with neutral grey stones that complement the colour pallate, and draw the eyes to the high ceilings and spacious living room.
